Our Vision for the School Pitches
Thornwood Community Green is a Scottish registered charity aiming to transform the disused pitches at Thornwood Primary School into a thriving community hub.
This underused land can become a valuable local resource offering learning and leisure opportunities for our young people and the whole community.
We aim to create a safe, stimulating environment for children to learn about nature and the outdoors, while partnering community-wide to champion growing, health, wellbeing, and diversity.
We are a densely populated community and this space has the potential to improve the recreational opportunities in the area.
Enhancing this vital community green space will also help in the City's aims to protect the environment.
This effort promises a greener, healthier Thornwood for generations to come.
